The 64 bit partition booted once after the update, then stopped working. I have attached the syslog.

Fixed in hrev48308.

However, you'll need to run makebootable on your partitions to fix your installs.

I ran makebootable from another Haiku partition on the same hard drive

Welcome to the Haiku shell.

~> makebootable /dev/disk/scsi/0/0/0/1 Writing boot code to "/dev/disk/scsi/0/0/0/1" (partition offset: 53346336768 bytes, start offset = 0) ... ~> makebootable /dev/disk/scsi/0/0/0/2 Writing boot code to "/dev/disk/scsi/0/0/0/2" (partition offset: 106693689344 bytes, start offset = 0) ... ~>

Now when attempting to boot each partition, I get the following error message: "Haiku_loader not found"

Sounds like you ran makebootable from an alpha4 install. You must use makebootable from a PM install. I've run makebootable on my own system without issues to recover my Haiku install.

I reinstalled my partitions from USB and updated to hrev48308. Everything works normally again. These partitions were only used for testing anyhow. Where can I find the new makebootable in the event this happens again? Is there a package available for alpha 4.1?

You can download an older nightly image and boot from USB at http://download.haiku-os.org/nightly-images/x86_gcc2_hybrid/

That is exactly what I did. Downloaded hrev48301 and reinstalled anyboot from USB, then updated again with pkgman. Anyway, thanks for the quick replies.
