Description
Locale doesn't translate all the strings available, even if the translation is complete in pootle. It works for some applications, and in all cases the application name is not translated either.
Examples of applications nearly fully translated in pootle (spanish) that aren't being translated properly: Deskbar People Locale CharacterMap
Examples of applications for which Locale works (except their name): Mail Backgrounds KeyMap

Hi,
For application names to be translated you need to check the checkbox in the Locale Preflet. There are known issues with this so it is not recommended to enable it for now.
The strings are synchronized from Pootle once a week (every Saturday). When have the translations been updated on Pootle? Maybe they will be included tomorrow since there was a lot of work done this week in resuming the Spanish translation.

Hi,
There haven't been any recent activity in Pootle (according to the "Last Activity" column), and there's no update in none of the users profiles for "Suggestions Accepted" or "Submissions Made". Maybe we should wait until satuday to confirm it's a bug (or not).
