User ethe on IRC, who used a recent nightly around hrev49900 ran into a kernel crash. He wasn't able to create an account in Trac due to this "Warning: Username ethe doesn't match local naming policy." So I'm filing it on his behalf.
Not sure if the crash is happening in VESA driver or BIOS, so i'm setting Component to Drivers for now.
