Description
If possible, I'd like to request a driver for this chipset, which my soundcard is based upon. Here is the product page: http://www.esi-audio.com/products/julia/
It is well supported in ALSA and it lists linux compatability in the product page, but it will not work in Haiku.
Linux uses the driver snd-ice1724

Thé native driver only supports ICE1712. Maybe try OSS.

This driver should also support Envy24HT-S & Envy24GT (vt1721 & vt1722)
Ticket for Envy24PT & Envy24MT support: #13048
Ticket for Envy24 Tremor support: #13049
A list of all known Envy24xx devices can be found here on our wiki.

I do not have this sound card any more, as when I upgraded my system over a year ago, I lost PCI access and had to repurchase a PCI-E sound card.

Which PCI-E sound card?

ASUS Essense STX. I haven't been able to boot into a newer revision of Haiku (2016 EFI build) because of my motherboard. I do not know if it is supported yet.
