Description (last modified by )
Hello. I updated to hrev50525 (x86_gcc2) from a previous nightly from August 15, 2016 (don't remember an exact build number, sorry).
After update, the video looks distorted (looks like when you set a wrong refresh frequency on an old crt screen). The only way to fix it was boot with fail-safe video (VESA).
On previous version (from August 15), the video worked without issues.
My video hardware is:

You can look in /system/packages/administrative for the backed up states, to see which revision you were running. Unless you did a clean install and not an update, that is.

Hello! I will complete the information: the previous working release was hrev50490. In some place, between 50490 and 50525, was the regression.
Also, I attach a screenshoot of the problem.

Can you try deleting the Screen preference file from config/settings? On one of my machines, the old versions of the driver had set a strange video mode, and after deleting the file, it set a more correct one and then everything started working.

Update: I deleted the screen_data file (/home/config/settings), but the only difference is that now, I get a different distorted screen :-)
I update a new screenshoot.

Please, close this ticket. I deleted the ~/config/settings/system/app_server/workspaces file and now the video card is recognized perfectly.
I guess it was the problem from the start. Thanks and sorry !
