Supposing you're updating with pkgman on a x86_gcc2_hybrid:
https://buildbot.haiku-os.org/builders/haiku-repository-x86_gcc2_hybrid/builds/3550 => hrev51200 geist-bot1-ubuntu64
https://buildbot.haiku-os.org/builders/haiku-repository-x86_gcc2_hybrid/builds/3557 => hrev51207 geist-bot1-ubuntu64
https://buildbot.haiku-os.org/builders/haiku-repository-x86_gcc2_hybrid/builds/3563 => hrev51213 geist-bot1-ubuntu64
https://buildbot.haiku-os.org/builders/haiku-repository-x86_gcc2_hybrid/builds/3564 => hrev51214 geist-bot1-ubuntu64
It doesn't seem to be builder dependent at least.

My laptop has a higher power consumption when running 32-bit in idle processor mode. The processor gets very hot. 64 bit works fine.

kim1963: Can you please retest this? I wonder if the ACPI race condition was the problem here, which may mean this is now resolved.
Hello, did you actually test hrev51032 and hrev51033?
