Description

Syslog is spammed with ata, atapi and IOCache errors whenever I attempt to use my optical drive. I am having issues with optical drive detection, failed burns, and system freezes.
The attached a syslog is from loading and ejecting a blank CD-RW disc.

I haven't had this issue for quite a long time. Closing. Do the devs still wish to review and merge the patch referenced in comment:2?
