Description
This is hrev51635.
- Make sure you have "Show | Only featured packages" disabled, so HaikuDepot will be busy on launch to populate the list view.
- Quit HaikuDepot.
- Launch HaikuDepot and right away start typing e.g. "glew" to filter the package list.
-> HaikuDepot pegs one CPU for a very long time while the GUI becomes unresponsive. It'll finally get back, but it takes an actual minute!
Work-around: Wait until the list view has finished populating, only then start typing a search term. Activate "Show | Only featured packages" to cut down initial populating delay.
Note:
See TracTickets
for help on using tickets.
After installing a package there's cpu-pegging for half a minute, too.
