Exiting KDL leaves KDL image on the screen

Description
Not a big deal, but it would be nice upon leaving KDL that the screen would refresh. For now I just grab a window and wipe it around the screen after leaving KDL.

As an end user, you are not expected to see this, anyway, ever - some day :-) It would require some work to be able to refresh the screen, and I just don't think it's worth it.
