Network preferences freeze when switching from DHCP to static

Description
On hrev52295 (and since at least December 2017), switching from DHCP to static configuration freezes the Network preferences window. If the applet is killed and then started again, the window does not show up.
The actual settings are saved, so it is possible to still connect to the Internet if at least one DNS server was specified.

No reply, and works just fine here (probably the ARP changes are again related), so closing as fixed.
