Description
I have two HP desktop PC's running Haiku and sharing a common DELL brand monitor through a two port KVM switch. Each PC is running the same generation of Intel graphics (HP Elite 8200 SFF & HP Elite 8300 SFF).
One PC correctly identifies the monitor and its corresponding VESA graphics resolutions. The other PC incorrectly identifies the monitor as a ViewSonic brand and the VESA resolutions are wrong. How can this be?
I have attached a screenshot of "Screen" preferences for each PC, as well as relevant parts of each PC's syslog and listusb which identifies the KVM switch.

Remove milestone for tickets with status = closed and resolution != fixed
I don't really know what's going on with your hardware, but it's clear that your VESA BIOSes are actually reporting a Dell and a ViewSonic, so there isn't anything that Haiku can do here, as it's correctly reading the EDID as far as it can see.
