just an »update«: i tried a new install of this nightly, but it failed with the same symptoms. to be precise: i've installed the latest available 32 bit nightly (52401) first, restarted and used the updater app then. in the update run there are some packages named as »xy-52407-...« which irritated me and seems to be the problem after reboot ...

What was your previous working revision? The log seems to indicate that Haiku is shutting down.
