Description
I have a HP Envy 13-AB016NR. Both buttons, on the touchpad, do not work. In the mouse prefs when I click on either right or left there is no indication that it sees it. But, if I press down on the center part of the touch pad I get a right mouse click.
I am able to work get around this way. But, dragging windows around is hard, as soon as I let go of pressure on the touchpad i have re align the cursor and then press and hold while dragging my finger across. Also, when dragging a window this way, the window will sometimes jump around on the screen.

I would just like to poke this one a little. I am trying to use Haiku daily on my laptop and this issue is really making that hard. I realize people are busy and this issue doesn't seem to be that important. Unless your me. Then it is really important.
Thanks

Hi,
To debug this I would need a syslog with the PS/2 driver compiled with tracing enabled booting on your hardware. Otherwise there isn't much to work from in the logs.

I would be willing to get the needed log. But, I can't compile the driver myself.

Another laptop with a Synaptics Clickpad. Closing the ticket as duplicate of the initial one for Clickpad support, I will try to trace what's happening in the syslog and put an analysis there.

Please attach your syslog.
