Description
Problem found on a machine with broadwell graphics (not mine, but I can contact the owner). The VESA driver is used because this specific PCI ID is currently commented out in the intel_extreme driver.
When exiting the screensaver, the desktop displays but is frozen (but KDL still works and displays fine). Sometimes, setting up VESA for the boot splash also fails (black screen, but KDL commands typed blindly will still work).
Found nothing that seemed relevant in the syslog.
