NOTE: 1920x1440 didn't work on standard 1080p monitor.

The listing in the Haiku Boot Loader shows the resolution of: 1920x1440. This works on some monitors, but not on some HDTV 1080p monitors

In the boot menu we list all modes provided by your VESA BIOS. It is not possible with VESA to handle modes not listed by the BIOS. If the one you want to use is not listed there, you have to complain to your video card manufacturer. We cannot do anything.

did you mean x1080 here?
For VESA i would say standard monitor is usually dubious, some only support really old modes..
