#1574 closed bug (fixed)

After reboot apps on non-boot partition disappear

Description

This is on a vmimage, hrev22548.

I have all 3rd party apps and data on its own image so I can update the system image without losing everything. Putting these "external" apps into the LaunchBox works until you reboot. Then the slots are empty... Yes, the app-image is mounted at that time.

BTW, I think "Slot" is more fitting than "Button".

I don't know if it's of any concern... Started from Terminal it says:

Signature in rsrc doesn't match constructor arg, (application/x.vnd-YellowBites.LaunchBox, application/x.vnd.Haiku-Launchbox)

I bet it's as minor as unrelated...

Resolution: fixed
Status: newclosed

Ah yeah, must have been my recent fix. Though for me, that fix doesn't quite do what I needed still. But I see how it fixes this bug...
