can easily be reproduced in application/Terminal by using noto sans mono font and then using i.e echo "の"

as a workaround one can set "noto sans CJK jp" or something, but the latin chars in there are from adobe(?) and don't look the same (and this only applies to cjk obviously)

Close as fixed, I have both Noto Sans Symbol and Noto Sans CJK characters displaying correctly in terminal with font set to Noto Sans Mono - Regular
