Syslog

You'll have to be more specific than that, because in the syslog, I don't see any issues: the WiFi card starts and connects just fine, from what I can tell.

sorry not to be more specific.

the wifi card was blocked off and by deactivating the SSH server, I was able to reactivate the WIFI card.

perhaps due to the great age (8 years) of this laptop ??? Is it normal for the SSH server to be activated at startup?

You can turn off SSH server in Network preference.

It still doesn't make much sense to me that the SSH server somehow "blocks" the WiFi connection? It is likely a coincidence, I don't really know how (and I've also never heard of) the SSH server interfering with WiFi startup.

I report the problems that I meet, random or reproducible.

In the future I will only report reproducible and therefore documentable problems. it will avoid misunderstanding.

Resolution: not reproducible
Status: newclosed

Well, if it only happened once, then yes, let's close this as not reproducible. We can always reopen it if you find a reliable way to make it happen.
