#15978 closed bug (not reproducible)

git push freezing again

Description

I'm using my phone as a wifi hotspot at the moment due to my DSL line being cut (wiring error at the DSLAM, it seems...)

Anyway, I can't push changes to Gerrit. Some TCP packets are exchanged and then it stalls. Attaching a pcap, which is quite small and short.

What hrev is this? Before or after hrev53831?

comment:2 by pulkomandy, 4 years ago

after. I'm running a reasonably up to date system from maybe a couple weeks ago.

Is there a way to try from a non-hotspot connection to rule that out?

I push dozen of changes from my usual DSL line when it works, without problems.

The connection was otherwise working fine, I wrote this ticket using it, attached the pcap file, etc, no problem here.

So it seems specific to git (or ssh) when using this specific setup, only.

Cannot reproduce today with the same connection... I'll reopen if it happens again.
