See if a warm reboot from another OS helps.

Still no dice after a warm reboot, audio works fine in Fedora 32 on this same machine.

After working with the fix I recently submitted, Now I am having the same issue on my Haiku x86_64. Will investigate it when I have some time.

Rebooting on a different one and then back in Haiku seems to have no effect.

If this was actually a delayed start of audio it might be fixed by hrev54464, please retest with a nightly that includes this fix.

Please check with hrev55842 or newer.
