Description

haiku-master-hrev54226-x86_64-anyboot.iso written to usb thumb using Etcher.

Booting from usb goes to the boot loader without pressing any keys.

Component: System/Boot LoaderSystem/Boot Loader/EFI
Owner: changed from nobody to tqh
Status: newassigned

This is a known issue with the EFI loader on master; tqh is working on it. The faulting commits have been reverted on the beta branch so this is not an issue there.

Reproduced with haiku-r1beta2-hrev54154_31-x86_64-anyboot.iso

At least I successfully EFI booted the r1beta2 image without hitting this error. Strange.

Isn't the loader for Beta2 the old one before my changes?

Same issue on a box with 2 nvme drives. I need to manually select Haiku image. Once the latest state is selected, the Continue booting option lights up. Minor inconvenience. See attached image.

Hi can you try a newer revision and also update the .efi app from it?

Hitting the same issue here, just that I can't select any boot volume.
