It would be really good to have disk I/O stats available in Activity Monitor.

  • DISK Reads/second
  • DISK Writes/second
  • DISK Total I/O per second
  • DISK Read bytes/second
  • DISK Write bytes/second
  • DISK Total bytes/second

Perhaps also

  • DISK I/O wait ms (milliseconds)
  • DISK Utilisation %
  • DISK Queue length
