Description

As mentioned in this review[1], HaikuDepot window content is sometimes unavailable with a disturbing smearing effect. It's quite unpleasant to look at, and as seen in the link, gives quite the bad press. :)

I have communicated with the author of this article...

I do not think the issue was with HaikuDepot. It happened a few times during my testing and appeared randomly when moving windows around on the desktop.

This stamping artifact means that HaikuDepot window do not respond to messages with reasonable time. It can be caused by some long processing in window thread or waiting for IO.

Has anybody else had a concrete problem with this? Is the problem still happening?

Still reproducible especially on virtual machines.
