Description
hrev54418 x86_64: The Icons
screensaver "freezes" after being active for about five minutes. The system is not frozen or unresponsive; if you move the mouse or use the keyboard, the screensaver terminates as expected - but the icons just stop moving/fading in and out.

@CodeforEvolution thank you for mentioning that. It didn't occur to me, but I do have Turn off screen
enabled and set to activate 5 minutes after the screen saver starts! So, this may be an entirely different bug altogether, because my display is definitely not turning off. I will disable the Turn off screen
option and see if the screensaver functions as expected, and if it does, we can close out this ticket.

I was going to say! :) This may be a DPMS (Display Power Management State) bug depending on your results.

My apologies - this does appear to be something more closely related to DPMS. The screensaver functions correctly after disabling the Turn off screen
option.
Please close this ticket. I'll look for and/or file a ticket related to the display power off issue.

I’m curious @dogcow, though in the ScreenSaver preferences, do you have the “Turn off screen” option or the “Password lock” option enabled?
