#16675 new bug

Developer blog pages are not easily accessible

Description

The Haiku website has "developer blogs", where each developer (or anyone, really) can post articles. It is an important part of the project documentation and history.

However, these pages do not seem reachable from the haiku homepage. You only get a few of the latest articles in the sidebar.

You may easily find https://www.haiku-os.org/blog/ which lists all articles in chronological order, but when you're looking for content from a specific dev, this isn't great.

you have to check the git repo to find out that my blog, for example, is https://www.haiku-os.org/blog/pulkomandy (we use a mix of realnames and nicknames so the URL is not that easy to guess).

It would be nice to have something like "community/developer blogs" with a list of all blogs and link to the list of posts for each, making this info easier to access.

Clicking on "nickname's blog" should take you to all of a specific person's posts. But yes, this could use some improvement.

Yes, once you have found a blogpost you can find other ones by the same author. But there isn't a good entry point to the whole thing

Would this be enough at least as a first step?

Add sidebar item in blog lists and post:

Clicking in its header leads to blogs/blogroll (or whatever name is chosen for that list that should not clash with a user):

The header does not look like a useable UI element to me

A "list all" link at the end of the panel a la "read more" in entry teasers? Maybe even another one in the Blog-O-Sphere panel to go to /blog/.

I would put the "Blogs" item only in the "Blog-o-Sphere" itself, and not on the homepage, otherwise that looks like a good idea.
