Description
Got a 5.1 wav file in 5.1 (play fine in VLC). The original was about 500MB so i reduced it to about 1.6MB to link it here but the problem still occur at that size.
In mediaplayer, if i put it in it, it don't play are the right sampling speed and it only use 2 channels. While keeping that mediaplayer in stop i use "new" to make a new instance of mediaplayer. I then put the same 5.1 track in mediaplayer where it play at the right speed and in 5.1 (you see the all the channels bars moving in the UI). Then if we quit those 2 mediaplayer and restart a new one, it will auto continue with the memorized track and play it correctly.
If you put a pure audio track (not one that open a black frame for cover art) it will also play the 5.1 track correctly if you put it just after (like making a new mediaplayer).
If you put an pure audio track after the 5.1 that play incorectly, be sure to lower your volume as a trippy soundloop occur. The sound loop does not occur if an audio track is used instead.
Have fun with that one :P
