Description
This is hrev54963, 64bit.
There used to be an "Open {appname}" button to the left of the "Uninstall" button for installed applications. Haven't seen it in a while, maybe even since I moved from 32bit to 64bit Haiku in the middle of Dec. 2020?

Some new User think they have to open Apps with HaikuDepot, which it is not. Is it a feature? Is it necessary to have? I like it to have, after installing a new App it is very convinient to use the Open button. I think leavengood is aware of this missing Open Button. But yes better to have this ticket...

Yeah, plus the there mentioned #15046, thought it seems to have worsened from "Open button is not always shown" to "...is never shown". :)

Applied in hrev54977, thanks!
It used to be there indeed. But now that you mentionned it, I don't remember to have seen it for a little while, except right after installing the app. Since few hrevs, even for simple apps, HaikuDepot says that a reboot is necessary and so the button doesn't appear at all. Note that apps don't appear in the menu either before the reboot. I tried that with Alex4 and Vectoroids games and in both cases, I really don't see why a reboot is necessary.
