Description
Good day,
~> uname -a
Haiku raven 1 hrev55009 Mar 21 2021 06:10:59 x86_64 x86_64 Haiku
/dev/net/iprowifi4965/0
laptop sony vaio vgn-sr19xn
Issue: Step 1: After setting the wireless network parameters, and telling network preferences to save the config, laptop connects to hidden wifi.
Step 2: Booting again, reboot, or shutdown and turn on, need to go through the whole process again. The network preferences are not saved.
This process has to be done every time as settings are not kept from boot to next boot and can't autoconnect to the saved wifi.
Regards,
RR

All right, so in the recent updates, nightly and now on the Beta3, the config is stored between boots. It doesn't connect automatically on boot, and also, the interface looses the connection from time to time. It does reconnect automatically, but stays without connection for some seconds.
So in this case it's a regression compared to last comment.
[edited] Also the connection appears three times in the available connections list

Looks like we can close this ticket due to the original issue being resolved. I believe there are existing tickets for the other issues.

Good day,
Looks like on #hrev55207 the settings are stored and the system autoconnects on boot.
I'll be testing this in the following days to certify that, at least in my case, it's solved.
Thanks! RR
