Reported by: diegovsky Owned by: kallisti5

Description

I just downloaded the new beta 2.0, and flashed it on my USB pendrive with dd on Arch Linux and booted Haiku on the boot menu of my EFI (Asus) without changing boot order. I'm using an AMD ryzen 5 3600 with an AMD RX 500 series.

I also retried 2 times because on an installation video I watched where a kernel panic happend the first time.

You can probably work around this problem by blocklisting (blacklisting) the radeon_hd driver in the bootloader. See documentation: https://www.haiku-os.org/docs/userguide/en/bootloader.html

Thanks for the quick response! I'll try the workaround and report the results.

Edit: It hanged indefinitely.
