Mail_deamon stops receiving emails after some time

Description
Real hardware Lenovo x201, build nightly (last updated 9 april 2021) 8 GB RAM, no issues with hardware or networking - connected via wire. Account is IMAP (using SSL for receiving), only one account used. Mail deamon usually receives mails, after 30-50 minutes, sometimes longer mails are not fetched and deamon needs to be killed from running tasks to receive emails again.
Clicking on "check for mail now" does not work in such circumstances as well, so I assume it is the mail kit, not mail application.

It is possible, that the worker thread tries to fetch IMAP via a secondary WiFi interface, which is not connected - I can see activity on the interface despite no IP address. In such case, it is a matter of the system not routing correctly, not the IMAP worker itself.
