IMAP Client - limited to 2000 emails in the INBOX?

Description
It seems that the IMAP client does not initially download more than 2,000 emails. There is no option to download all. In my example, I have 46,000 emails in a folder (and 10K+ in others), so I see only last year. Even if this is on purpose, there should be an option (config file?) to be able to download all. Haiku is excellent at attribute searches, but this breaks the whole idea (I cannot find older emails as they are not there, obviously)
