#16998 closed bug (duplicate)

KDL on boot, ASSERT FAILED (haiku-git)

Description (last modified by roiredxsoto)

Good day,

~> uname -a
Haiku hawku 1 hrev55145 Jun 10 2021 06:41:46 x86_64 x86_64 Haiku

Today, after pushing changes to Github, on reboot I've started to experience KDL trips, with Kernel PANIC: ASSERT FAILED

The Panic shows 'haiku-git' text so I presume has to do with Git on Haiku.

Attached is the Screenshot of the screen. At the kdebug prompt nothing can be done. Can't type anything. Nothing happens. Need to force reboot or shutdown.

I can't reproduce this issue 100% of the times. It only happens on boot, and not on every boot. Sometimes Haiku boots to desktop 'safely', sometimes goes to KDL.

Let me know what can I do in order to improve the report.

Regards,
RR
