Description
Since hrev55212 I believe, when switching workspaces the screen on my tower goes blank for some seconds, I suppose it doesn't like being asked to turn on when it already is.

I guess since the reporter posted the patch that has then been merged, this one can be closed?

It had not been submitted to the master branch yet. Done in hrev55253.
