It would be nice if we specify where to get "haiku_loader.efi" from in our install directions.

I suppose the info is there. I think what confused me is the page is broken down into steps to follow then this piece of information is just sitting there but while following the instructions doesn't present an actionable item.
Maybe something like this would help?
(/boot)/system/data/platform_loaders -> /EFIBOOT/system/data/platform_loaders
BOOTX64.EFI (Haiku’s UEFI loader haiku_loader.efi) -> BOOTX64.EFI (Haiku’s UEFI loader haiku_loader.efi, renamed and copied from location mentioned above)
Maybe it has been pushed after you opened this ticket but, it seems to be there already.
Maybe details about bootloaders could be added in brackets i.e (direct, UEFI, PXE) to make it clearer?
Maybe the wording 'platform loader' is triggering the good old user reflex 'If you don't understand it, it's probably not for you.' and some are skipping directly that passage. But it is already in an infobox to show that it is important and finding another wording that would be concise would be difficult.
