Description
I installed Haiku R1-beta3 64bit on my 'performance' laptop (the other one being a Powerbook G4 with MorphOS ;) ) which went very well. Also it feels very snappy on that hardware. A major downside however is that I only get 1024x768 resolution with VESA.
I found out its' Radeon Xpress 1200 is currently not supported, despite the PCI-id (0x791f) is listed in https://git.haiku-os.org/haiku/tree/src/add-ons/kernel/drivers/graphics/radeon_hd/driver.cpp#n50
Currently I run this laptop on Gentoo Linux, where the Radeon Xpress 1200 performs completely unproblematic. Would be nice if I could run Haiku too with its' native 1280x720 resolution on that machine!
I regularly use this laptop and can help testing.
