Description
hrev55623 boots to an out-of-range resolution/frequency on my Dell Optiplex 580 USDT - no Haiku logo or boot icons show. This resolves when the desktop comes up at the resolution and frequency I have previously set. NB - the display worked during boot in hrev55621 and previous builds that were able to be booted on this machine.
This system used Core 2 Due (2.9 Ghz) integrated graphics.

I've now tried that, both by removing the vesa config file and by leaving an empty (0-byte) vesa file there. Neither changes this new behaviour. The screen does not display the boot sequence after the bios messages, and the monitor displays an "out of range" message until the desktop comes up (everything is fine from that point). Any other ideas? :)

Try deleting the VESA setting in /home/config/settings/kernel/drivers, then reboot
