I've noticed this on severall websites, most blatantly on gitea where 4 letter commit messages somehow end up beeing only ... character without anything visible, with plenty of space available, I've also noticed text beeing layed out to a second line for no visible reason.

I don't reproduce the problem with gitea.

Did you change font settings in WebPositive? Here I have the font set to Noto Sans Display with size 14 and it is working fine.

Yes, I have them set a bit larger, and use a different font. WebPositive settings

This issue appears similarily atleast on ios safari with gitea, so it is not our fault neccesarily. Can be reopened if there is a new way to reproduce this.

Just tested against the haikuwebkit head also, and this issue does no longer appear there, where it does appear on webpositive.
