sftp command line consistantly stalls on get

Description

When using "get -a -r -p *" to download a few GB of files from a machine on the local network, download starts to stall after approx a few 100 MB - once this has happened, downloads stall sooner on subsequent attempts.

I'm on hrev55632 x64
