Description
For the Haiku website, powered by Hugo, it would be nice if we could have a shortcode that allows us to insert a terminal in webpages, based on this: https://github.com/jiridj/hugo-macos-terminal
Since a shortcode is just HTML/CSS, we could also reuse this across all our documentation too - it beats just having screenshots and since ASCIciinema hasn't been ported to Haiku yet it's a good alternative for showing terminal input/output.
Thanks!

Hmm, interesting, is it currently possible to record asciinema casts and embed them into Haiku's website? Now I understand why kallisti5 was suggesting we add support for that on Haiku's website

I will make the same argument about it as I did about asciinema: do we actually need that on the website?
In terms of UI I find "fake windows" like this super confusing. I end up wanting to move and resize them and being frustrated that it doesn't work.
The current thing with orange text on black background (as used for example here: https://www.haiku-os.org/guides/daily-tasks/updating-system.html ) already makes it clear that the text is meant to be typed in a terminal.

Agreed, I don't think we need this.
"asciinema" is actually available at HaikuDepot. Stupid name, prone to typos... :)
