Description (last modified by )
As discussed in the thread Explain the Audio Mixer Setup options of Media preferences:
- Remove the option "Attenuate mixer output by 3 dB (like BeOS R5)". It stays the default behaviour. (There hasn't been much feedback on that in the ML thread, but a quick web research suggests tat providing this 'headroom' is often used to avoid clipping.)
Remove the option "Use non linear gain sliders (like BeOS R5)". It stays the default behaviour.
The options for "Resampling algorithm" can be renamed to:
a) "Low quality (drop/repeat samples)"
b) "Better quality (linear interpolation)"
(with maybe a future option for a "High quality" algorithm)

Two of those suggestions were implemented with hrev55828.

I may provide a patch for this, but since I haven't been able to build Haiku for many month (see #17428) it'd be 'blind'...
