Description
As discussed in the thread Explain the Audio Mixer Setup options of Media preferences:
- Remove the option "Attenuate mixer output by 3 dB (like BeOS R5)". It stays the default behaviour. (There hasn't been much feedback on that in the ML thread, but a quick web research suggests tat providing this 'headroom' is often used to avoid clipping.)
- Remove the option "Use non linear gain sliders (like BeOS R5)". It stays the default behaviour.
- The options for "Resampling algorithm" can be renamed to:
a) "Low quality (drop/repeat samples)"
b) "Better quality (linear interpolation)"
(with maybe a future option for a "High quality" algorithm)
