Description (last modified by )
Using the NVidia driver with a FX 5200 on AGP, the monitor turns off after the boot screen (but needless to say it works with VESA). Currently on hrev55848, but the same behaviour can be observed on the Beta 3 release ISO (both 64-bit).

Hi, I didn't think of this before, but yould you try to disable AGP mode? Could be that helps. See my site howto do that:
http://rudolfs-place.nl/BeOS/NVdriver/setinst.html#settings
The setting to look for is 'force_pci'. For another user this fixed the problem..
Thank you!

Hello, I apologize for the delay. Enabling 'force_pci' seems to make no discernible difference, and neither does toggling 'check_edid' and 'switchhead'. However, setting 'usebios' to false seems to cause the GPU to output something, albeit an unsupported mode (my monitor shows 28.1kHz horizontal/37Hz vertical, which is too low; same with another monitor, but it won't show the frequencies), rather than just turning the monitor off entirely. I've also tried toggling 'force_pci' and 'check_edid' while having 'usebios' as true, to no effect.
