Likely cause is https://cgit.haiku-os.org/haiku/commit/?id=d039f12b315bc212a19f4e73b5e068ef0c8fb745 Previously I was riding on the EFI Framebuffer :-)

oops. sorry for the delay on this one. I tested this on my Framework laptop, and can confirm intel_extreme is functioning correctly as of hrev56087
