Try both USB ports with same hang.

comment:3 by korli, 2 years ago

Can you get a picture with the output of "syslog | grep usb"?

comment:4 by loll, 2 years ago

Ok, I discovered that syslog is a command available from panic shell. Nice :-)

Quite strange that the search for "xhci" failed. Did you blacklist it?

comment:6 by loll, 2 years ago

no, direct boot w/o change any options

comment:7 by loll, 2 years ago

OK, i dld last image56060, flash another usbstick and now, it boots up to desktop. Maybe pb with my Zalman virtualCD drive.

comment:8 by loll, 2 years ago

retested boot with last ISO and it fails with my Zalman virtualDisk. OK on another PCs so particular case with Lenovo X270. This is life...

comment:9 by tojoko, 2 years ago

Have you tried a stable Version?

comment:10 by loll, 2 years ago

Try Beta3 and same hang using my Zalman virtualCD (https://www.amazon.com/Zalman-ZM-VE350-Disque-SATA-Noir/dp/B016K7699M). x270 + Haiku + Zalman = incompatible
