It depends on the number of cores (only two in your case) and the length of the name string (apparently unusually long on QEMU).
Adding an extra newline in the CPU name if it is too long should improve things.
It is unrelated to this ticket, however, which is about making the Intel logo larger on high-DPI displays. I suggest you open a separate ticket for your problem.

I am not sure if this is what Diver was wanting but I noticed that in Pulse the cpu icon is cutoff on my machine. Screenshot attached. hrev57257
