Description (last modified by )
system will boot ok, with a USB stick, but begins fualting out once installed onto a harddrive.
There are some logs, where do I find them, what are they called so I can attach them here. This is a strange problem that booting from USB is ok but booting from the HDD causes problems.

Which revision is it? Did it work before? Have you tried with on-screen debug output enabled? It could slow down things a bit.

Beta4, and the KDL was with onscreen debugging enabled. I suspect the issue is the some kind of USB bus enumeration and the shared threading or memory at boot up. It will boot up with a single core, just not with smp enabled.

ok, I played around for a bit and what I found was that, disabling SMT in the UEFFI config for the motherboard helped a ton, here is the boot log from this machine with SMT disabled and a few other safe mode options selected.
