system fails to boot with SMP enabled ryzen CPU asus motherboard — at Version 1

system will boot ok, with a USB stick, but begins fualting out once installed onto a harddrive.
There are some logs, where do I find them, what are they called so I can attach them here. This is a strange problem that booting from USB is ok but booting from the HDD causes problems.
