Description
I just merged a new topic "Your desktop" with an existing topic "Post your Haiku screenshot". Normally that should raise the old thread up to the top, as there are now new comments from the merged ones, no? Apparently not.
The merged topic is marked closed and will be deleted in a week. It may appear like I removed the content...

This would be better reported to discourse. We run stock versions of the forum software.
We have also undergone a few major version updates since this was reported. Try it again.. if it keeps happening please report it to https://meta.discourse.org/c/bug/1
