That's quite vague, what is the error? are you sure this is tied to a nightly version and not the new haikuwebkit version that was recently released?

Screenshot of the error please. Otherwise nothing can be done.

Tested:

  1. pkgman full-sync -> Updated to hrev56773 x86.
  2. pkgman uninstall haikuwebkit*
  3. pkgman install webpositive*

Result: Same error.

packages on hrev56773 x86:

haikuwebkit  1.9.3-1
webpositive r1-beta4-hrev56773-1

NOTE: haikuwebkit 1.9.3-1 and webpositive package worked OK for hrev56769.

runtime_loader: /boot/home/Desktop/WebPositive: Could not resolve [...]

/boot/home/Desktop/WebPositive

What WebPositive are you running?

comment:7 by cocobean, 23 months ago

WebPositive 1.3-alpha.

Let me be bolder here. The message is saying (twice, and extracted and emphasized in the previous reply) that there's a problem with a file called WebPositive that is on your desktop. Does the system-provided WebPositive also exhibit the problem? Or is that a copy you have of an older revision or even one of your builds?

No, this was a user error. I deleted and symlinked WebPositive to the Desktop and it worked. Had backed up the old copy to the Desktop and forgot... sorry for the chatter.

You can close this ticket.
