  • Ticket #18272 – Description

    v2 v3
1 After disabling then reenabling the Wifi and reconnecting to a network, the connection is in a very odd broken state. Network preferences shows green/connected and that the machine has an IP address, as does the applet in the deskbar (after relaunching, as it seems to crash when I do this). However, pings fail (including to ip addresses so I assume this isn't a DNS issue), and I am unable to navigate to new websites.

33Bizarrely enough, however, if I already have a website displaying, I am able to continue browsing on that website only. It is not some sort of cacheing; I am able to navigate to pages I have not been to before (like new threads on the forum), as long as it is on the same domain/subdomain. This occurs no matter the browser I use. Similar behavior occurs if I toggle the hardware switch on my machine to turn off then on again the Wifi card (an Intel 7260).
